About Yiannis Tziallas
Yiannis Tziallas was born and raised in Athens, Greece. He began his studies in music at the age of 7.
He studied classical and jazz guitar in Nakas music school of Athens and in 2011 he completed the “Formation Complete Artiste Musicien” in Swing Romane Academy of Paris. In 2015 he received the ALCM title in Jazz Performance and in 2016 he became a member of the RGT@LCM (Registry of Guitar Tutors at London College of Music). In 2020 Yiannis concludes his Masters degree (Création Musicale et Sonore) at the Musicology Department of Paris VIII University. In 2023 he acquires his “Diplome de musique de film” from Studio Capitale d’Enseignement of Paris.
Since 2018 he is teaching music at the EMMD in Louvres and in Saint-Witz and is the conductor of Parthenon Traditional Orchestra in Parthenon Dance Academy of Paris participating in many international events and festivals (Serbie, Corse, Unesco Paris etc.).
Yiannis has composed music for theatre and cinema and has released and produced many albums in diverse styles of music.
In collaboration with Apostolis Psychramis, Yiannis signs the music for “Aionia Anossia”, a play by “The Patari Project” that was presented in Athens in 2022.
In 2020 he composes the music for “Sklavos - Présence/Absence” and in 2022 the music for “De Volos à Alexandrie - D’Alexandrie à Paris : Menis et Lily”, two documentaries directed by Yannis Mavroeidakos and in 2023 the music for the short film “WEIIGHT” directed by Panos Dimitriou.
As the composer, lyricist and producer of the metal project Cyclopean Walls, in 2021 Yiannis presents their first full length album, "Enter The Dreamlands” that came out from Steel Gallery Records.
